The monthly networking program, After 5, is a co-branding opportunity for our members to promote their companies and network with our members and industry professionals.
After 5 brings together remodeling industry professionals to network and create business relationships. The membership committee uses this to introduce potential members to the Kansas City remodeling network.
How It Works
- Event sponsor pays a hosting fee.
- There is no charge for the attendee.
- This event is open to members and non-members.
- It can be hosted anywhere in Cass, Clay, Douglas, Jackson, Johnson, Leavenworth, Miami, Platte, and Wyandotte County. In fact, we encourage participation outside of Johnson County.
- Hosts or sponsors receive the attendance list after the event to follow up.
- Average 80 attendees per event.
- If serving alcohol, the vendor agrees to hire a company to do so—this ensures proper licensing.
- Members agree to invite their remodeling customers to promote membership.
- Agrees to allow the Association to speak about the association or association topic at the event.
- Agrees to supply the Association with an information table.
- Agrees to let the Association manage the check-in process on the day of the event.
- The Association will manage the registration, answer attendee questions, and supply badges.
- Co-hosting with another member is accepted and encouraged.
- This event is held from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. – but could go longer.
- Event sponsorship is $1,200, with venue support provided, if needed, for an additional fee.
